Dr. med. Josef Maier
Biomedical Visuals was founded by Dr. Josef Maier, a doctor with a doctorate, artist and technology enthusiast. After a thorough education at the HTL for technical computer science and subsequent medical studies, he devoted himself to his passion for art, with training in painting, illustration, photography and graphic design.
With Biomedical Visuals, he combines his artistic talent with his vision of presenting medicine and health in a way that is understandable and visually appealing for everyone. During his clinical practical year in the hospital, he gained valuable insights into the practice of medicine, but decided to use his talents and interests in a different way: by combining science and art. With Biomedical Visuals, he has created a platform that makes medicine and health understandable, inspiring and visually impressive - a perfect symbiosis of creativity, precision and scientific standards.
